Oh wow! I was watching this (for about the millionth time) barely three hours ago! Love it, love it!!! I think its one of the best films of the thirties, though I havn't seen Dodsworth yet so I'll refrain judgement!
Katherine, Ginger, Lucille Ball, Eve Arden, not including the likes of Gail Patrick, Andrea Leeds and I especially loved Constance Collier and lets not even forget Ann Miller and she was only 14 when she did this!!!

ReplyDeleteI watched Stage Door Canteen before realizing my mistake (hey, Hepburn was there too). Fortunately, I found the REAL Stage Door the following week.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great movie that it's difficult who to start complimenting first. Ah, Ginger vs. Kate and the great exit of Andrea Leeds. =)
I'm still trying to figure if I love this more than "The Women" such a hard choice!
