Hi,i rewatched yentl,a year ago & yes we know she is a bit tooo ld for the lead but boy does she sell every last bit of the part,i would've definitely kicked out jane alexander or julie walters in 83's best actress line up and put babs there no question.

i also loved mandy patinkin and was wondering if he is lead or support,i love him so and his butt, that nude scene lived with me during my teen years when i 1st saw it.

    Nat,mandy lead or support.

  5. mrripley -- Patinkin is the male lead of the movie. And also a lead as its a love triangle where the third point (amy irving) is the only one doing traditional "supporting" work.

    sars -- you got it.

By the images, I guessed The New World, but when I highlighted the dialogue, I guessed Fly Away Home. Obviously, I was waaaay off on both.

I should re-visit The New World...

My plan for the other blog is to write about specific advances in physiology.
And I did not invert my links, Irene. They are placed where I wanted them

  9. MrRipley I know exactly what you mean. I was sweet seventeen when I watched this and I was literally swooning over Mandy's butt.
