Sometimes it is just the colour, but mostly it is the way he sees women.anagastohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12173541768886884924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8256060.post-32241752835329068242010-05-07T21:16:39.168-04:002010-05-07T21:16:39.168-04:00I think I'm more excited for this than I was f...I think I'm more excited for this than I was for Almodovar working with Gael Garcia Bernal in Bad Education-- though I'm always excited for the next Almodovar film. He's one of the best directors in the world, and though his films are relegated to indie theaters because a large chunk of Americans don't care for films with subtitles, I'm not so sure that's such a bad thing-- my local indie theater's a lot cheaper than the stadium seating multiplex in town!Direct to Video Connoisseurhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02310858965138247572noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8256060.post-30189988698111386572010-05-07T11:52:56.804-04:002010-05-07T11:52:56.804-04:00This reminds me of those SNL sketches that Chris K...This reminds me of those SNL sketches that Chris Kattan used to do as Antonio Banderas. He'd have that Zorro look going, and Horatio Sanz was his sidekick who would always say, "Too sexy! Too sexy!" Loved those back in the day.

And you know that Madonna and Antonio boned. LA PIEL QUE HABITO (THE SKIN I LIVE IN) is a movie project Almodovar was caressing from several years. it's a loosy adaptation of the late Therry Jonquet's erotic thriller MYGALE (TARANTULA)and it's very melodramatic and tense history of revenge, with a quite weird twist. I konw that Almodovar could make an awesome film about it, even if he won't be faithful to the novel...

I'm just sorry that we won't see Penelope Cruz as Banderas partner...I was pretty convinced Cruz was perfect for the role of the "victim"...but I'm trusting Almodovar could find a good substitute for his museMirkonoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8256060.post-85896368618593063532010-05-07T04:04:35.166-04:002010-05-07T04:04:35.166-04:00I'm most excited to know the rest of the cast ...I'm most excited to know the rest of the cast (please, some Carmen Maura!), specially the other male part.
