Roxie wasn't supposed to be an aces singer and dancer. She was supposed to be mediocre compared to Velma and had to use her other assets to achieve fame. That mirrors scene is still a stunner (but maybe more credit should be given to Rob Marshall for that), and I loved the courtroom scene when the media leaves her to cover the new murdress. Sad what her career's devolved into now, but she's had a string of great performances to her credit, especially her great 90s films like "One True Thing," "Jerry Maguire," and "Nurse Betty."Sebastiannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8256060.post-88314645281539600052010-06-18T14:10:32.152-04:002010-06-18T14:10:32.152-04:00...count, count, count..."7 words" Price......count, count, count..."7 words" Priceless bitch moment :).vg21https://www.blogger.com/profile/18224254040084856202noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8256060.post-48196656855937702802010-06-18T13:54:20.261-04:002010-06-18T13:54:20.261-04:00PLEASE PLEASE, more moments of Screen Bitcher post...PLEASE PLEASE, more moments of Screen Bitcher postings! they make my day!Deus Ex Machinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13698364458317869705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8256060.post-6797797532512234322010-06-18T13:30:08.181-04:002010-06-18T13:30:08.181-04:00And /3rtfu11, why no love for Holly Hunter in Thir...<i>And /3rtfu11, why no love for Holly Hunter in Thirteen? I think Marshall's original choice (if legend is to be believed) of Toni Collete would've been interesting, but my something just tells me that the prefect Roxie would've been Sarah Jessica Parker.
