Jodie's best pre-adult performance is in The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane.

Also, the Donna Summer song is "On the Radio." I guess by bad music I mean that I can't imagine the very cool girls in this movie listening to disco in 1980. Surely they would have been into punk or at least New Wave at this time?Christinenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8256060.post-43077697311289484272010-01-26T16:52:09.392-05:002010-01-26T16:52:09.392-05:00I just love this movie. And I do think it's Jodie's best pre-adult performance (better than Taxi Driver and Alice, even.)

I sorta love the music. Because it's just so wrong. And I just love that scary climactic sequence with Cherie Currie hitchhiking. Baio's bad, but I sorta like how seeing them together reminds me of Bugsy Malone>StinkyLuluhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11765533714740641857noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8256060.post-86989452864680576982010-01-26T16:29:53.879-05:002010-01-26T16:29:53.879-05:00Ah, Foxes. I agree with Christine: Scott Baio is one of the most loathsome ingredients.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8256060.post-12575695427996644832010-01-26T10:11:22.506-05:002010-01-26T10:11:22.506-05:00Yay! Love: Jodie Foster gives another one of her great
late 70s/early 80s performances; also, the film shows a realistically grimy 70s Los Angeles. Loathe: the music is mostly pretty awful and there are too many scenes with Scot Baio.Christinenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8256060.post-52669334610247397972010-01-26T09:34:20.158-05:002010-01-26T09:34:20.158-05:00@Christine: BINGO!@Christine: BINGO!StinkyLuluhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11765533714740641857noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8256060.post-25326970508619134592010-01-26T07:42:09.966-05:002010-01-26T07:42:09.966-05:00It's Foxes with Cherie CurieIt's Foxes with Cherie CurieChristinenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8256060.post-76406767812803560382010-01-26T07:15:25.629-05:002010-01-26T07:15:25.629-05:00Is it Gummo? Is it Gummo?Seanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16087246947856549381noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8256060.post-44237705837254123322010-01-26T06:34:03.783-05:002010-01-26T06:34:03.783-05:00Not sure about the film.
