After they had really gone way downhill, they get some real people in to try and rewrite the series over again. Its working for BATMAN (although I actually am a little unconvinced) and certainly worked for Bond with CASINO. I know some Bond fans object to this rebranding (e.g. Kamikaze's reaction against many of the "anti-Bond" choices) but I think turning it into something else isn't a bad thing.
