Z kinda has to figure in if you're being honest and counting Nurse Betty and Bridget... Chicago wasn't half bad either... really the only dismal thing she's done is Cold Mountain, and I don't think that should disqualify her completely.
ReplyDeleteYeah, tough one for Julianne... really the only great great perf is FFH, and then there are a smattering of good (The Hours), good enough (Hannibal, The Forgotten, The Shipping News) and downright bad (Laws of Attraction, Evolution). But then, I haven't even seen the "bad" ones... so I can't judge.

ReplyDeleteJust thought I'd throw in something related to Miranda Otto. While she has been good lately, nothing will beat her quintuplet of golden Australian film roles in 1997 and 98.
ReplyDeleteDoing Time For Patsy Cline, The Well, In The Winter Dark and Love Serenade. The latter isn't the best of films but she's great. The other three are swell on their own right with Miranda giving fab crazy girl performances.
