i just want this long national nightmare (which boils down, I think, to people prizing their own ignorance and getting upset if anyone wants them to think about anything) to be over. Sarah Palin is yet another politician who is meanspirited (dissing community organizers... really? that's the kind of person anybody wants representing their nation?) smug, and all about the lying because they don't have anything else to offer other than more of the same.
ARGH.
they say that the nation reflects the character of the president and I TOTALLY believe this to be true.
I shudder to imagine that we could possibly became even dumber and smugger and less willing to change than we already are.
