(And quite possibly my favorite year since I've been alive ... '91 is a close second if only because there were three out-of-this-world nominations vs. four). Two amazing villians, a huge star-making, top-grossing turn (that arguable reinvigorated the rom com ... apologies to Meg Ryan's "Sally") and Meryl Streep's best performance ever (I haven't seen Mr. & Mrs. Bridge). Sam is right. Streep should have sung.Cinesnatchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00244752542602944093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8256060.post-68742747885758080122007-05-22T19:30:00.000-04:002007-05-22T19:30:00.000-04:00for those who are like "Huh" to stinky's comment, ...for those who are like "Huh" to stinky's comment, that's here.NATHANIEL Rhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11597109147678235399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8256060.post-64447879707046241582007-05-22T11:13:00.000-04:002007-05-22T11:13:00.000-04:00I do love that Shirley's proud march from the hosp...I do love that Shirley's proud march from the hospital is in Nathaniel's "She's a Bitch"...StinkyLuluhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11765533714740641857noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8256060.post-31540620494909524622007-05-22T09:32:00.000-04:002007-05-22T09:32:00.000-04:00Love the movie, love the book, love Meryl's perfor...Love the movie, love the book, love Meryl's performance. I particularly loved her singing at the end. Why doesn't she sing more? I thought she should have sung at the Oscars instead of Reba.

Another great moment: Shirley MacLain's transformation in her hospital room as she prepares to meet the press.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09857385118958020047noreply@blogger.com
