It's just another obscenely overpraised impersonal little charade about nothing (see also: Raiders of the Lost Ark, Burton's Batman, etc.) that fits right into its decade when it comes to filmmaking, a decade which by and large blew miserably.

Almodovar sucks. It sounds more exciting and less likely to fail that way.
Anyway, my guess is that it's going to be like the Crash TV show: it's there and some people watch it, but there's just no one talking about it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8256060.post-81143643538218904782009-04-25T15:51:00.000-04:002009-04-25T15:51:00.000-04:00I would watch the show with this fantasy cast:

That being said, it does sound a little Desperate Housewives-ish. Still, you have to wonder, if Almodovar is producing . . . that could mean something or absolutely nothing.Cinesnatchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00244752542602944093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8256060.post-38613624752752032482009-04-25T15:40:00.000-04:002009-04-25T15:40:00.000-04:00This comment has been removed by the author.Cinesnatchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00244752542602944093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8256060.post-41846361305669244892009-04-25T14:56:00.000-04:002009-04-25T14:56:00.000-04:00Iggy... ooh, great idea.Iggy... ooh, great idea.NATHANIEL Rhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11597109147678235399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8256060.post-42164015640264059402009-04-25T14:51:00.000-04:002009-04-25T14:51:00.000-04:00I prefer to forget what I've read about it (that s...I prefer to forget what I've read about it (that suburban drama thing) and concentrate on all the possibilities it offers for a great cast.
