AHHHLLAAAAAHHHMMMMMMMMMMMM goes off at seven, and you head up towwwwwwwwwnnnnnn, you put in your hours, for the powers, that have always beeeeen (sing it child), till five p. eeeeeh-ehhhh ehmmmmm...
What really impresses me is that the girls somehow manage a 20-second off-camera costume change. Is there a REALLY clever invisible cut there, or did they just have Olympic-qualified dressers?
I really really want to write an essay on this scene for something...it's the perfect modern extension of Busby Berkeley musical technique with visceral and hilarious results. Gah!
how the hell did ellen greene not even score a golden globe nomination for her brilliant performance? i would've even put her in the oscar line-up that year
still, i guess we should be thankful they didn't give the role to laura branigan or some other 80s pop star
par --i once read an article about LSoH mild box office performance and it said 'ellen green is great but the film sure could've used somebody famous like Madonna in the role'
i love Madonna but oy...
if anybody ever deserved a transfer from stage-to-screen it was Ellen Greene as Audrey 1 methinks
