Breakfast With... (Special Oscar Nomination Morning Edition)

Breakfast with Marilyn Hack. She's got "so much food" (I think she expected visitors) but no Oscar nomination. Nope. How'd that Frenchie get in? At least she's not going to lose. She's not going to lose!

My gods but I love Catherine O'Hara, don't you?

The moment she suddenly got this amazing "amount" of plastic surgery in the movie I could barely watch her, it was terrible and i felt so sorry for her.
But: O'Hara is great and always will be! More roles to her!

  5. This whole time difference thing is confusing me. Using the time that appears under our posts here, what time will the nominations be out?

  6. Catherine, if you're using Windows (I'm sure Mac has the same option) go to your clock and change the time zone to Pacific Time. The nominations are being announced at 5.30AM PT. That equals 12.30AM here, which is unfortunately since I have to be up at 6am for work. eep. 4 hours sleep for me then.

  7. Thanks Glenn! The only problem is I'm using one of the computers in college, which don't allow you to do anything more basic than surf the net and open Word. Ack. I feel for you, with the whole awkward time thing! My condolences.

They're coming, Catherine. If you're above me (in the map) as I guess, it's at 13:30 ? for you, 14:30 here. So, just in 35 minutes or so.

  13. Usually www.oscar.com although when i go there now there's an ad for the website in the main video form so that should be replaced by the nomination room very soon.

    22 minutes!

I'm using my time wisely. I just had a shave so I don't have to in the morning, I'm getting my room tidied and sorting out a load of laundry i need to do tomorrow. hah.

  18. I watched the nominations live on Oscar's website last year if I remember correctly. I watched them SOMEWHERE online last year because I'd never done it before. I'm sure it was oscar.com

I love Catherine O'Hara, especially in that film.
Her monologue at the end of the film is fantastic in its insanity
