April Showers Bring May Flowers
The old saying had better be true this year. It's not physically raining right now. But when it rains it pours...even if only in the life sense. And in both good and bad ways. And I need to see a light at the end of the tunnel (and all that). While I try to deal with all the personal whammy going on, please enjoy the new site feature -The Calendar (linked above).

Do you think there is a connection between the characters of George & Martha from 'Whose Afraid of Virginia Woolf' and the characters of George & Martha from the animated tv show called 'George & Martha' featuring the voice of Nathan Lane.
...?

Okay, just read the Calendar and i LOVED it. PLEASE continue this. it's so fun. Some comments:
13th: God, the William Sadler scene in Kinsey was just revolting. I mean, the film itself wasn't that great, but... i just thought this scene was really offputting. However, I do love the guy - mainly because of Shawshank and the tv show Roswell (how i love that show!)
14th: Wasn't Adrien Brody EVERYONE'S former beau?
19th: I sort of liked Centre of the World. Sort of. Molly was indeed great. The best thing about it was the poster, though. Odd.
20th: Holy fuck (sorry, but it's warrented) - Annie Hall the pinnacle of the modern day romantic comedy? I don't find much romance in watching Allen try to get it on with Diane while he accidentally coughs into a pile of coke. I mean, it was alright, but I don't see what the fuss was about. Honestly? Whatever...
22nd: I'd rather Nicole get jobs than someone half as talented...
25th: Awww, awesome Nat!! You mentioned my country's holiday. Here's a brief discription.
ANZAC stands for Australia and New Zealand Army Corps, and is the name of the guys who fight in wars or whatever. ANZAC Day is a day to honour all the guys who died in Gallipoli (Turkey) in WW2. In fact, if you really wanted to watch an Australian movie about Australians, starring and made by australians that really fits the day - sit down and watch Peter Weir's "Gallipoli" starring Mel Gibson among many others. Or the oscar nominated "Breaker Morant"...? But, there ya go.
However, "The Ref" is all-time funny. "Chopper" is indeed great (however it lost the Australian Film Institute Best Picture award to "Looking For Alibrandi" - a teenage coming of age movie featuring Anthony LaPaglia and Gretta Scachi) and Heaven underwhelmed me, but I loved Cate.
26th: I loved Kate in Holy Smoke! But I never saw Hidious Kinky.
30th: Kirsten needs to get an Oscar nomination soon because, Kate Hudson has one and she doesn't!
(this turned out longer than I intended, sorry)
