Friday CatBlogging: Monty Impostor
Check this out. This cat looks exactly like mine. So much like mine I was spooked reading this. Thankfully there is no custody battle over my beloved Montgomery. He is all mine. Mine! Mine! Mine! Don't even look at him wrong. He's mine!

I just wanted to give you props for naming your cat Montgomery. It's kind of the best cat name ever. Very cute, and faux-regal.
Named after Monty Clift, I presume?
My aunt named her cats Edith, Margaret and Foofoo. She is a trip.
It's all about the cat.
I hate to contradict my earlier post but it's not just about the cat. It's also about the sidebar. How the hell am I suppose to insert the "latest theatrical viewings" and "links" every normal person has at the left/right side of his blog?? I am just so stupid.
go into your "template" section and scroll down until you hit the part that has "previous posts" if you dont' know HTML than just copy and past a section like "links" and change the heading multiple times to whatever it is you want in your side bar.
but make sure you have the complete coding .
email me if you still have trouble
Nathaniel, go see The Family Stone. It's good. It got totally jipped this year, especially for best ensemble awards (though SAG could still go for it, I suppose). That exec at FOX who chose to move it should be fired. It would've made a great thanksgiving movie.
Also, Nat, your best actor page leaves out Ledger's NY and San Fran wins (those are a big deal! and you want him to win critics awards!), and also Russel Crowe's globe nom (stop denying it).
back to the cat story...
she is now living upstate, in hudson, struggling to make it as a poet"
because we all know that's where the money is.
Hey Nathaniel,
So this is off-topic, but... I think Jake G. will be brought along for the ride (so to speak) in the Supporting category come nomination time. It's a feeling I have that I'd like to go on-record about now. If AMPAS has widespread love for Brokeback, Jake is in no matter what other groups say. (think John C. Reilly in Chicago and Alan Alda last year for The Aviator.)
...and I tried to click on your link for "brilliance: Jude Law" and it's the same link as the Pfieffer fanpage a few lines lower. Thought I'd mention. I needed a dose of Jude.
I agree that there's really no reason why Jake shouldn't make it... but that said, I can't see any of Nathaniel's 5 missing either. Tough call. Other than Paul and George, I think everyone else's fate may depend a lot on overall support for their films... which is why Jake has a very good shot.
Also, for the record, Jake missed the globe nod only because they officially put him in the lead category, which was just too competitive. Weird how sometimes they're sticklers and sometimes not at all (Foxx).
