Who Invented Sudoku?

I need to know. Because they owe me like SO many hours of my life back.

adam k. said...: Yeah, my mom was stupid enough to get me Sudoku for christmas when I don't even play it. What is the point of that? What is she thinking? I haven't got near it. If I do, I will develop yet another pointless addiction, and that is the last thing I need.; 1:19 AM
Anonymous said...: It was invented by American Howard Garns in 1979, but it never caught on here. It was first published as Number Place in "Dell Pencil Puzzles and Word Games." A Japanese guy who worked for a newspaper liked it and brought to Japan in 1984 where it soon became very popular.; 1:22 AM
