Love to see "Whisky" finally popping up somewhere. Though I have to say the ending to "The Constant Gardener" was really touching, emphasizing the one thing that truly worked in that movie (the love story). And the whole scene with William Hurt in "A History of Violence" didn't make the cut at all? Strange, given that it's so great/twisted/essential.
Love your ending choices, especially the The New World, 40-Year-Old, and Brokeback mentions.
Great choices for top 10 scenes, as well!
Okay, I officially am dying to see Cache after you writing "The scene that makes the audience gasp aloud". I can't wait.
Can't object to any nominees though except for perhaps the Star Wars ending. I suppose i just did not care by that stage. I also have never been that big of a Star Wars fan, so the realisation of Vader wasn't really up there in terms of cinematical moments I wanted to see desperately.
btw, I've just done a nice-sized post on my blog about December statistics if ppl wanna read. It's totally earth-shattering Pulitzer Prize winning stuff there.
Oh, you must see Cache. In my audience there were screams too (mostly gasps). Great moment.
no ScarJo for best character intro??? not even an honorable mention? my lord.
