What are you looking at here?
These 12 men were duking it out for spots #99 & #100 on the Top 100 Actors of the Aughts list [The most valuable screen actors according to me and for the films of 2000 through 2005 only. Like we did with the Actresses, yeah that!] Only 2 of them survived the brawl. Find out who when the new list begins on Monday, February 20th @ the Film Experience

I hope it's Sutherland and Bell, and I really hope that it isn't Mulroney. From my never-finished review of The Family Stone: "Somehow, even watching Mulroney in the full flush of new love still feels like watching dry needles fall off a tree."
Rhys-Meyers, Sutherland, Bell, Mulroney and/or Hurt, I think. Tough to narrow it beyond that, though.
How do you go about making these decisions, Nathaniel?
My guess is that it's Bell and Sutherland (though I think it is a shame that Isaacs, who was my second favorite supporting performance of 2003, doesn't rate mention in your list).
nick d -hee. but he is fun to look at at least.
adam k -it's a very complex process that involves tea leaves, dvds, and deeply meditative yoga + spreadsheets
john -wait whaddya mean about isaacs not rating mention? he's one of these 12 which means he's being considered: the awful truth is that with lots of these people the problem is they either haven't worked much in films or i haven't seen the right films to amply evaluate.
I haven't seen the Family Stone so maybe thats why Dermot Mulroney is on there? I find his work fairly 'meh' most of the time (he was fairly good in Lovely and Amazing I guess) ... my guess that it will be Rhys-Meyers and Bell.
Tough to see who you will choose, but I am hoping you actually go for Eduardo Noriega -- a fine actor who actually gets used in films for his looks almost exclusively for ironic effect.
I hope it is Rhys-Meyers and Bell...
I hope my boy Jamie gets on there. I love him. We're going to have a Spring wedding.
