Oh... Oh, Oh, oh. Mmmmmm. The memories of watching the best cinematic showdown of 2004 just came "poping" back.
Daryl Hannah really was FANTASTIC in this movie (fully deserved her FB metal.) As for the "The Bride", well she has become such a major cineamtic icon.
That scene truly was one of the best pieces of editing, choreography and action acting ever.
And I agree with Ryan about The Bride being a major cinematic icon. I'd even go as far to say that she's the definitive movie character of the 21st century so far.
ditto everything above. (only two characters might rival her in terms of being more iconic; the physical incarnation of Gollum and, naturally, Jack Sparrow.)
The Top Film Icons of the Aught's (imh and over-inflated opinion) 1. The Bride 2. Gollum 3. Jack Sparrow 4. Shrek
And to a lesser degree...
Napolean Dynamite
and, personal preference ...
Ron Burgundy
and, honorable mention, to a much, much lesser degree ...
Literary heros Harry Potter & Bridget Jones, Nemo, Satine, the Brokeback cowboys, Spiderman, Donnie Darko, Neo, Gaylord Focker, George Bush in Farhrenheit 9/11

Yeah, I'd say Jack Sparrow is more iconic... many more people saw him, plus he will be in lots of sequels.
Many more people saw Jack Sparrow, but 50 years from now, many more will have seen and gotten horny for The Bride.
