I can't believe Turner missed out on even a lousy Globe nod for this!
"You can't wear white shoes after labor day"
"Please. Fashion's changed"
"No it hasn't"
REWIND!
"Is this the Cocksucker residence? Is this 4215 Pussy Way? Well, Dottie Hinkle, then why aren't they here, huh, fuckface?"
Hee.
That movie was hilarious when I saw it back when I was 16. I need to watch it again. That was the first John Waters I was ever laid privy too. Haven't seen much else quite frankly because they haven't released much on DVD down here.
Kathleen Turner is the only woman I could ever go straight for.
A reporter once asked her if this was her Mommie Dearest moment and she replied: "Now you're just being provocative." She wasn't taking any BS from some hack who didn't get the film.
all that one has to do to see how well Kathleen Turner "got" the film was to compare her work here to Melanie Griffith's in Cecil B Demented.
