I can't guarantee the same results at home (different players/timing) I use a VLC
So, uh, if you want to watch a particular television progam -- All My Children or something –you… you go the charge nurse you tell her: day, time, show you want to see is own but you have to tell her before the show is scheduled to be on. There was this guy and he was always requesting shows that had already played --Yes! No. YOU. HAVE. TO. TELL. HER. BEFORE. He couldn’t quite grasp the idea that the charge nurse couldn’t make it be yesterday --she couldn’t turn back time, thank you Einstein! Now he –he was nuts... he was a fruitcake Jim!

Not a fan, personally. I don't think Gilliam is my thing.
Was this not close to the time where we get to see Brad's bum? Yummers. He looked so good in this movie. Best work Bruce Willis has done to date. Love the ending.
Have you people seen Chris Marker's La Jetée? 12 Monkeys is a remake. It's good, but the original (28 minutes, black & white) is one of the best movies of all time. IMO, the best short I've ever seen, better than Buñuel's Un Chien Andalou.
Here's the Criterion DVD (with also Sans Soleil, a marvelous Marker's movie about Japan).
The full movie is up at Youtube, but don't see it the 26 minutes version, because of terrible English dubbing. See the 3-part French version with subs.

We just discussed this film in my class on Postmodernism. Fascinating when you look at in terms of the Lacanian concept of jouissance as interpreted by Zizek. We're doing Memento right now.
It's especially effective if you've taken a class on Hitchcock and read all that theory too:-)
Personally Vince, i think Bruce Willis has the hotter ass in this movie. It's so round and high! Brad's is a little flat, tbh. We're doing Fight Club in a week or so I think, a much better film for Brad Pitt oggling.
Yes, we get the whole monty of Bruce's backside during that wash-down (?) scene. Very nice. I don't think he's looked hotter since. He had the best-looking shaved head for a while too.
My mom always thought of Brad Pitt as a useless pretty face until she saw 12 Monkeys. After that she loved him. :P
Pauline Kael saw absolutely nothing in him (this was back in 1997). I wonder what she would say about him now.
I'd like to echo Cal's praise for La Jetee. One of the best films ever made - simply beautiful.
that's a great screen grab. i really enjoyed this movie, probably more than i expected to.

Much love, but that's the most pretentious thing I've ever read.
