I’m itching to see Into the Wild but I’ve been too busy to seek out that opportunity. So for today’s Lunchtime Poll put yourself in that traveling man mindset:
Q: If you were abandoning everything for some solitary adventure, which movie related sites would you visit on your travels?

Behind the dumpster at Winkies. That'd be my last stop.
the stairs in the exorcist, i'd take a looksee if i'd get possessed too! heheheh
what does everyone think of the sweeney todd trailer.
I would visit the regions of India seen in Octopussy.
NEW ZEALAND! What with Lord of the Rings, Narnia, Whale Rider...
South American areas visited in Motorcycle Diaries also...
I'd like to get back to Australia one day and check out Uluru (Ayers Rock) from Priscilla and then head over to the New Zealand locations of The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Wow - good question.
Halloween Town from NBC leaps to mind. And then Christmas Town, of course. After that, I'd hop on the water-travelling train from Spirited Away, and maybe get off for a day or two (if I feel depressed/melancholic) and mope around in the 2046 futurescape. Finally I'd seek out Club Silencio (where I would probably find the blue box and wake up).
Cris, we posted at about the same time. Good call on the South American locations in Motorcycle Diaries...
Oh, movie-RELATED sites. Sorry, I misunderstood the topic.
It might have to be New Zealand then, yes.
Gotta stop at the Griffith Park Observatory. Relive both Rebel Without a Cause and Paula Abdul's "Rush, Rush" video in one trip!
The Paris of Jules et Jim by day, and the Paris of Ascenseur pour l'Echafaud (Elevator to the Gallows) at night.
To the river where Jake Gyllenhaal bathed nude in "Brokeback," find a pube, and sell it on Ebay for quick cash so I can continue my journey.

well douglas - i work in georgtown & actually go for walks at lunch. i have visited those steps - up & down them many times. Me...where would i like to go at lunch?...i'd love to walk on the set / street jimmy stewart ran down at the end of "It's a wonderful life" (i doubt if it exists)....or i'd love to walk around that very hill that julie andrews opened the "sound of music" with...maybe do a few twirls.
it must be great minds thinking alike Susan... ;o)
neel--why must you blaspheme by mentioning "rush rush"
dave ---behind the dumpster will be everyone's last stop. yikes.
The 'site' I'd most want to visit doesn't exist anymore, alas - the courtyard and the Elephant in Moulin Rouge, complete with panorama of Paris and a full moon hanging low in the night sky.
