We are at the tipping point, people. If we don't do something now--uh, I'm sorry. I lost my train of thought...

Lisa Simpson ~one of the fullest cartoon characterizations of all time. Can I get an "agreed" ?

Agreed. But the movie was something of a disappointment.

Agreed, she's brilliant, my third favourite Simpsons character after Burns and Homer. Her movie, however, not so brilliant...

The Simpsons is the greatest TV show ever.

Agreed, but I feel the same way about the whole family.

I still haven't watched this film in English (I went to see it in a French cinema when I was on holidays). Still, Lisa's brilliant. I used to get teased for being slightly Lisa-esque, but I learned to embrace it.

If anyone wants me, I'll be in my room.

Agreed, though you could say that about any of the Simpsons characters.

Agreed. I have a longstanding view that Lisa is the best character on the show, and more crucial than any other (except maybe Homer) to making the show work.

Yeah, I've always had a thing for Lisa. When Bart and Homer's consistent idiocy started to get tired she was there to pick up the slack.

I really liked the movie though, actually. Very funny. Sure, it's not as good as the show at it's high point, but what else is?

Agreed here also.
And to me the movie was a revelation. I'm appalled at the lack of Top 10 list mentions. Is it because The Simpsons are too familiar from TV that the brilliance of the writing (and the animation) in the movie gets overlooked? I haven't laughed this much in a cinema since... well, ever.
