This font is meant to portray my seething jealousy...
For, you see, my friend Susan P has just interviewed Viggo Mortenson. This did make my Christmas shopping easier...
One more person scratched off the list. I don't think Susan deserves any Christmas presents this year. Surely VIGGO is gift enough.

Susan wrote a wonderful, in-depth article. But I don't blame you for being envious.
I hope Viggo receives an Oscar nomination this time. He was incredible in this film, and I appreciate it that much more after reading about the work he did in preparing for it. And I love David Cronenberg, who will unfortunately go unnoticed with all the competition this year.
They really snubbed Viggo on History of Violence. I hope the Academy doesn't make the same mistake this time.
Viggo is love, he better get a frikken nomination. Susan is a very lucky woman. Viggo also has some really decent films coming out next year.
Just to keep you up to date Nat, according to the Hollywood Reporter Viola Davis has been cast as Mrs. Muller. I think she was on your list as one of the best Black actresses.
Mrs. Muller in what?
Doubt with Meryl Streep
Oooh that's awesome news for Viola Davis! Great casting coup there, and she deserves the exposure with something high profile like this role.
The Academys best original song list is out too. 59 songs are competiting for a nod this year.

LOL, Nat.
However, I'd like to point out that I only spoke to Viggo on the phone, I didn't actually receive him as a gift.
(Of course, it's not too late!)
If you had attended the screening of Alatriste a year ago in Toronto, Viggo was easily approachable after the screening. Unfortunately I was in too much in awe to know what to say to him.
