This is one of my favorite movies. It makes you wonder why it took so long for Paul Newman to win an Oscar.
The film presents one of the most shocking scenes in the history of cinema without showing it in fact.

Love it, love it. Great movie. I love movies who show what happened to those men who, a century earlier, would be in the middle of war, fighting Indians, bandits and their own demons. Without a was to fight, only the demons were left.
