I LOVE this movie - and as terrific as Winslet was (when is she not?) I thought Carrey's nunaced performance was criminally overlooked by AMPAS (and etc.)

Oh, do I ever love this movie. I teach it every year; I love it that much.
Very much agreed RedSatinDoll. His narration at the beginning (over that lovely Brion score) is a thing of beauty. The moment that really gets me is Dunst's line reading "I've loved you for a very long time." Heart melts.

Great, great movie.
Amazing movie. My #1 of all time for Film and performance (Winslet). I just love it. And this is a movie that BAFTA got right. It was nominated for:

Oh, and Carrey was also amazing. He was truly underrated in this role. I just love this movie.
If this movie was a person, I would bang it. I would probably be STD-ridden from it. It is simply one of the best movies. Ever.
