Love this performance to the moon and back again. Kind of like I feel about Mary-Louise Parker in anything, really, but this performance in particular is just a godsend if you ask me.

Damn I forgot about this. What a treat. I've been meaning to watch it again. Mary Louise Parker is stunning, as is pretty much everyone who shows up in this series.

Oh no, you didn't. "AIA" is one of my favorite films of all time (sadly, I've never seen the play). How lovely to see it recognized on my fave blog. Here's hoping you'll give it some serious written attention in the future. Or have you already? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Kurtis if you haven't seen the play DO. Keep an eye out for regional productions or whatnot. It's really such a fascinating thing onstage. Nichols did an immense job transferring it. Too bad it wasn't a theatrical feature so we could have showered it with awards right here.

Great film. Loved that entire ensemble. Flawless casting.

Streep hasn't done better work since, (I've yet to see 'Doubt', but even her magnificent performances in 'Prairie', 'Devil' and 'Mamma Mia' can't hold a candle to her turn(s) in this)
