Poor Winona, she used to make great films. I really hope she gets her life in order.

Wow. I had forgotten that Janeane used to be pretty.
I met Winona two weeks ago, she has not aged, not one minute! I was shaking after i touched her impossibly frail hand. Then she brushed me off and walked the other way. It was beautiful.

I love this movie so much. That is all.
I only just found out that Ben Stiller directed this movie. I was (and possibly still am) shocked.
In my class the other day, I showed the clip from Dracula where she's all bloody-faced, and I couldn't help but think that in my students' young adulthood, she's always already been in the background--certainly compared to when we were younger.
Did you know that Reality Bites is one of the films you can stream through Netflix? Huzzah!
I really wish Netflix had the streaming video option for Macs. They need to get with the program already... Netflix, not Apple ; )
And I'm starting to get curious who the Film Bitch best actress nominees will be. My guesses are

...with the 5th spot still up in the air. I think Streep will be relegated to honorable mention status, what with Nat calling the performance "inconsistent" and "good, but not her best." I wonder what he thought of KST? Probably not much, considering that grade. Blanchett I don't think will make it. Jolie definitely won't.
Maybe someone slightly out of left field, like Michelle Williams? Or Cruz in Elegy? Hmmm...

Netflix *does* have streaming video for Mac -- as of about 10 days ago! They sent an e-mail. It's awesome, and awful (because...what a time suck!) all at once.
WTF!? Really??? I just canceled my subscription last month because I never use it!
Do they have all the same movie options as PCs? Looks like I'll have to get back on Netflix as soon as my finals are done...

I love this film! As much as i love Winona and Hawke in this, my favorite scenes are between Garafalo and Zahn:

Only cob nobblers liked this movie. Winona's score, but swingin' on the flippity-flop with a bunch of lamestains for 99 minutes? What a harsh realm. Lock, anyone?

I saw this movie 4 or 5 times in the theater and I haven't done that since (until Moulin Rouge!) That is all.

I do remember thinking the toughness was contrived in this flick, and the story predictable, but I still liked it....guess I'm a Cobb Nobbler. : P
God, I love this movie and in particular, this scene.
Janeane's "You won't regret it" to the gas station attendant is hilarious.

@Adam K. -- yep, for real! As far as I know, it's the same set of movies as on PC. And I'm on the 2-movies-a-month plan but still get unlimited streaming movies. The viewer's even pretty good--easy to move around within the film.
