Kristen Wiig as Björk
Somebody give her the Oscar. Or, okay, the EMMY. She was so funny in her brief bit in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, too.

"We're sorry but the clip you requested is not available from your location." Cheers, ta, thanks very much NBC for denying me of the greatness that is Kristen Arikan nee Wiig.
Ha, I rewound this yesterday and watched it about five times in a row. And you beat me to posting it, dammit. ;-)
I think "Fishing, Dragons, and Screaming" is my favorite part.
And I am totally going to slip "Oh snarf" into conversation as often as possible.
huh. Ali, i'm watching it right now. It tells you it's not there?
JA... that's my favorite part, too.
...except for maybe the part about "clouds" as currency
Love it. Love her. Seth Meyers is adorable.
Nathaniel - I am in Turkey, and the videos NBC puts up on its site are not available here. Alas...
Ali, can you watch Hulu? They have it here.
I HAAAAAAATE HER.
I don't typically hate people, especially people I only know from a Magic Talking Box. But...man. HATE. I just think she's one-note, one-trick, one-look, no-talent. And that one note she CAN hit is, like, the worst note ever.
Sorry for wigging, LOL. But no. She's the worst.
JA - No, unfortunately. This is what I get: "Sorry, currently our video library can only be streamed from within the United States."
I hear there's a way around it, but I am too great a luddite to ever getting around it.
JA: I'll answer in Ali's stead - no, he can't.
Hulu's videos, just like those posted on NBC, ABC, Adult Swim, etc., etc. are unavailable to us second-class (= non-American) netizens.
That's worldwide web for you.
Hm. She was cut out of "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," are you talking about a deleted scene? Or mean "Knocked Up"?
maybe i saw an extended version? She was definitely in the movie (as a yoga instructor)
She is the greatest player they've had since Will Ferrell. It's amazing how much she makes the show.
Also Rob she was the yoga instructor. Though maybe I've only watched the Unrated DVD so you may be right.
Who else doesn't like this new girl? Probably just jealous because she's 20. I am glad Chris Elliot had a hot daughter though.
Ali: You answered while I was typing. Figures. :)
If you google "how to watch hulu abroad" or similar you'll get links to a couple of websites and programs that supposedly help with this but none I tried ever worked for me.
LOL. Those two are like the only two funny ones left on the show.
Ohhh dear... Winona Ryder did this exact same Bjork impression on SNL's Celebrity Jeopardy years ago (and better). Something is seriously wrong with our comedy culture when people praise Kristen Wiig as even slightly funny. She is a horrible mugger and obnoxiously unimaginative in her acting choices; she always ALWAYS goes for the easiest, most obvious laughs. She seems incapable of playing off anybody else like good comedians actually do. Are there really people out there who find her Target lady funny? Seriously? She represents everything that's wrong with SNL and why the show has somehow become one of the worst programs on television. Almost every actor stands outside of the characters they play, archly proclaiming "look how outrageous I am! Look how funny this is!" Where are the actors actually inhabiting their characters, like Murray, Akroyd, Radner, Murphy, Hartman, Carvey, Ferrell used to do? (forget about Will Ferrell's movies: check out some of his SNL skits, like "Mr. Tarkanian" with Pierce Brosnan - that's absolute commitment to a character while still playing off the other actors). Oh, but look at "Knocked Up", people say. Wasn't she so funny? Uh, no. Every cheap bitchy line was sitcom timed without a shred of conviction; you could almost see her pause for the laugh track. She's not even funny in an over-the-top, outrageous way. Watch how hilarious Jane Lynch is in, well, just about everything, no matter how absurd the part. It's all in the commitment to character and subtlety of the eyes - film and TV are beautiful mediums for that kind of comedy. But Wiig (a TV star) freakin' plays to the back row of Madison Square Garden. WE GET IT - YOU PLAY RIDICULOUS PEOPLE. Sorry; am I alone in this?
Chris is angry, although I agree on Winona's Bjork being better. But isn't everything better when Winona does it? (link: http://www.imeem.com/people/IkXXgy/video/Wi5d2Qqn/winona_ryder_is_bjork_comedy_video/)
She makes me want to steal things.
And Kristen Wiig is amazing. Look no further than the Lawrence Welk Show skit..."...with my by myself"
Definitely an extended, unrated cut. There was no yoga instructor in the theatrical version.
I still love her Nancy Pelosi the most. Those eyes...
I thought she was funny in Knocked Up, but don't remember her in Sarah Marshall.
I can't watch the clip, nevertheless I'm sure it's nowhere near as funny as Alex Borstein's Bjork impersonation on MadTV (which for about four years or so was the funniest show around)

Absolutely hysterical if you ask me (but so is the entire clip. Debra Wilson's Whitney Houston (the main part of that clip) is BRILLIANT. "Queen of the night I am!"
The one thing I fault Wiig for is that she doesn't seem to have the breadth that the greatest players on the show have had. Her characters seem to be variations of each other, but damn if it isn't a freakin' hilarious variation.
And yes: Winona Ryder gives Wiig a run for her Björk money (which I suppose is clouds). Celebrity Jeopardy with her is absolutely priceless. ("I think of my thoughts and they make me laugh!")
She's also painfully funny in "Ghost Town" ... her interactions with Ricky Gervais left my pants wet (with urine (from laughing so hard)). She is the only reason I tune into SNL ever.
PPO-10 and Chris can go snarf.
As a big Bjork fan, and fan of Bjork impressions I have to say that the "Bjork Bjlogs," where a woman who has the gestures and softness down, talks about fairy magic and Cinco De Mayo. These are online by Studio Fred and have zero production value but I think are way more funny than anything on SNL.
I saw Kristin Wiig perform last night. She was a guest at the Groundlings. She was amazing. She did two long-form shows with six other Groundlings. Her work wasn't one-note, it was diverse. And she played off the other actors beautifully. She had uncanny timing and she hardly did any "characters" or "voices." She's a talented improv artist and performer. You can only become one with adept listening skills, quick thinking, wit and the ability to play off of others.
SNL isn't the final barometer of what she has to offer and I'm sorry that there are some on this thread that express such ridiculous disdain over her based on limited perception.
Okay, I said my piece and I'm done.
