Nathaniel, you inspired me (just yesterday, I believe) to go see Two Lovers. The power of suggestion. And now, Isabella Rossellini made me think of it. The film was decent, and with just a handful of characters, James Gray illustrated - for the first time, in my opinion - a bright future in film that he may very well have.
"In dreams I walk with you"... the only reason I'm not watching this right now is because I never ever want it to lose its potency through too many viewings.
Devin, she was great in Two Lovers, though I still prefer her brilliant work pulling Liz Lemon's hair on 30 Rock. "Dammit, Johnny, you know how I love my big beef and cheddar!"

Weird. I just read an article today about postmodern notions of representation that mentioned this and Blade Runner. When it rains...
Nathaniel-
For a guy who's as openly gay as you are, you sure wanna make a man stay in the closet with a still like that!
Wonderful, wonderful film.

Fox. Ha! Yeah, I'm not sure even the closet is safe in that house.

Which is creepier:
"Ooh, mommy, baby wants to fuck"
or
"He put his disease in me"
or
"Here's to your fuck, Frank"
???
we have to choose???
