He's the sexiest screen legend ever (in my opinion). He can read whatever he likes, as long as i get to look at him.
Oh, Gregory Peck!! He played characters that are like heroes to me! :-)
Gregory Peck has never really stirred my martini....until NOW! What a blister-inducing photo, maybe I've been neglecting this gorgeous actor (have never even seen To Kill A Mockingbird)
There aren't "leading man" like this anymore ...He's probably reading Moby Dick
if it was hollywood today, he'd be reading atticus 2: revenge of the mockingbird in which scout, now a sexy law student, is threatened by the vengeful offspring of mayella ewell so atticus must come out of retirement to save her (twist ending - jem had something to do with it and nothing is as it seems)
I always loved his voice but never realized how handsome he was. What a great picture of him.
My god he was a beautiful man, and tall too! I don't think he was a great actor although a good one, but he was a great movie star, which is almost better sometimes. Loved him in Keys to the Kingdom (he was just the sexiest young priest!) and The Yearling and dreamed he would win an oscar for To Kill a Mockingbird. He was also a great foil for Audrey Hepburn.
Sigh...What a dreamboat...
He's not reading at all - his eye line is too high up.
Instead he's wishing he didn't have to stay in with his tousled hair but could go out and kick a ball around with the lads.
I am eternally in love with him, and I too think he is one of the sexiest screen legends of all-time.

But apart from Mockingbird, what else should I see Peck in?

In my head, he is my white father..LOL..I think his depiction of Atticus Finch is one of screen's best portrayals of fatherhood. Plus in real life, he was a major activist. Thank you and I love you Gregory Peck

Before I saw him in To Kill a Mockinbird I could never believe O'Toole lost the Oscar for Lawrence. Then I saw Atticus and now I Thank AMPAS for their decision.
He was one of my favorite actors when I was - something like ten years old. And still is. I think his looks, his quiet grace reminded me of my father, who died when I was three. So there was that. But he'd still be my image of an "ideal man" if I swung that way.
See "Spellbound"!
I always like Gregory Peck. Just a few hours ago, I had the chanche to watch "Designing Woman": it is a comedy, and mister Peck was great.
But I suggest to watch "Moby Dick": it is a faboulos perfomance, maybe too modern for the time the film was released.
