If Alison Lohman Must Be Dragged to Hell This Weekend
...may I kindly request that she take all those bad wigs from White Oleander with her to the fiery pits?
They distract me when I'm trying to look at Michelle Pfeiffer!
Please and thanks.

I thought Lohman was quite good in White Oleander but could they have not cast anyone who looked more like Michelle Pfeiffer? I didn't buy the mother-daughter resemblence for one second, with or without those atrocious wigs.
Just remember, an actor does not own their hair. you have to blame the director for anything like that.
I thought Lohman was pretty good in White Oleander too, but yeah the hair was pretty bad. And I specifically remember a part where she's living with Zellweger and all of her sudden her hair was way longer (because she cut at some point) and it was soooo distracting.
Drag Me To Hell is getting amazing reviews btw.

@Lily. I know. Critic friends of mine keep saying 'it's great' everyone is very enthused that Raimi has gone back to horror.
Does anyone remember the way Alison Lohman was touted as the ext big thing and had a lot of movies lined up? Why did that not happen again?
She needs to take Tyler Lautner's wig from "Twilight" with her too.
THANK YOU. see also: Hair Hell
Kris at in contention called her an "uninteresting" actress...and though I consider myself a fan I agree... she tends to coast on "pretty" (something her white oleander mama has and had to fight very hard against) but their final confrontation at the prison ("I wanted to throw you against a wall!) is sublime.... how the f*** did they skip over Pfeiffer that year for Best Supporting Actress? It remains her BEST performance bar none.

I find three of them miraculous hence my crazyass pfandom. Baker Boys. Batman. Oleander
I was only looking for a way to segue into Funny or Die's hilarious new video about Gwyneth's GOOP that they have up, but this blind item from Entertainment Lawyer seemed appropriate to post here as well.
#1 & #2 - This C list almost exclusively movie actress who has been in some important movies thought she had found true love. It sounds like true terror. In what should be her coming out party for her first real big lead role, she instead has to deal with her new B list writer/director boyfriend who loves nothing more than hitting her. Very careful not to leave a mark on her face, she nevertheless was almost in tears on the red carpet from the pain he inflicted on her the night before her big premiere this week. Despite this, she still held his hand as they walked the red carpet. Sick I know. The posters agreed that it had to be about Lohman. Although I tend to agree with Anonymous that she tends to coast a lot, I hope she kicks her boyfriend to the curb if it is indeed true.
Also, Josh Brolin is going to be outed in In Touch for cheating. Usually that would be the last publication I would believe, but since he's B list, and I can't imagine the fake news of him cheating would sell much like it would with the endless Brangelina stories, I think it's true.
how is Josh Brolin B list?
after the past two years he's had???
