the greatest shit ever! the fact that some people look down their noses at the sting baffles me. just because it doesnt have some great social or moral theme doesnt mean its not the greatest thing that ever happened. no weak spots on this one

An aside, ever read The Sting producer Julia Philip's book, 'You'll Never Eat Lunch in This Town Again'? It's a page-turner, with lots of delicious on-set stories and fascinating glimpses into Hollywood and the interworkings of the movie business. (Altman's The Player owes it a debt of gratitude for inspiration.)
