Can you guess the movie?
About the eyeball... this actor or actress has just about the best eyes in the cinema. If I were him or her it'd be in my contract to get my eyeballs a closeup right up front in every movie. Just like this!
Highlight for the answer: It's Kathryn Bigelow's underappreciated 1995 sci-fi film STRANGE DAYS. Maybe her recent Best Director win will draw attention back to her other gems.

Though I can't quite figure out that final shot I'm going to through out a guess: Strange Days.
"Contact" is my best guess.

Strange Days is a heavily under-rated film. I hope Bigelow's recent triumph will result in people exploring her back catalogue.

I don't know, I think Cillian Murphy has pretty electrifying eyes Bit of dork trivia - Christopher Nolan did make him take off his glasses all the time in Batman Begins, just so Nolan could capture his eyes.

I've always thought that Faye Dunaway's eyes were quite...hypnotic, especially in Network. But they are n't anymore, now that her face has been altered.

I can't believe no one's mentioned Ewan McGregor's eyes! I've never seen the Island but I loved that close-up of his eye in the trailer.
