One of the most deserved "hump day hotties" yet. Rachel is just so fabulous in every way.

I agree. This is probably the most perfect woman in the world today.

She really is fabulous. And I think "the next Julia Roberts" tag is right on. She's just like Julia, except not nearly as annoying, and, I think, a better actress. I'm willing to bet that she will be the next rom-com queen. But will probably branch out also.
Really, she pulled off Regina George so well that I thought "yikes, I hate that girl, what a bitch" and by that I mean, "that ACTRESS must be a total airhead bitch". But no! She's actually quite versatile and seems very nice and grounded. I want her to be in everything now.

She really would've made a perfect Sue Storm.

Well, I love her... she kinda reminds me the beginnings of the goddes Michelle Pfeiffer (the greatest actress) . I think that if she continues with good and great performances she could be the next Michelle Pfeiffer.

Perhaps, but only if the rest of the movie was completely changed alongside her.

And, yes, Rachel is indeed excellent. In just two years she's showing that spark that (yes, yes) Julia Roberts did earlier in her career. Hopefully Rachel keeps doing different genres like she has so far (comedy, romance, thriller) and doesn't think she needs to stick to one genre to be popular. And if The Family Stone is any indication, she's content to do supporting roles. Who else did that early in her career...? why, it was Ms. Roberts.

Well, if Peyton Reed had directed it like he was originally going to, it would indeed have totally changed around her. Ah well.

Even Rachel's name has identical syllablage to Julia's: Rachel McAdams. Julia Roberts. Julia's rolls of the tongue a bit more smoothly, but Rachel's is so fun and quirky. McAdams! hee. like Adams but not. I love it.

She and Elizabeth Banks could be sisters. They look the same in certain angles.
