Ellen Degenerous is hosting the Oscars:
First there was the flashy article entitled “Brokeback’ers Corral Academy Invite” back in June. Of course they snubbed Michelle, only inviting Jake and Heath. Oh, I wonder why?
Now they hired the biggest, proudest gay celebrity in Hollywood to host their next show.
-Yeah, their basically telling us “we know you’re our most devoted viewers. We f*cked up bad last year. Please forgive us.”

Obviously, I didn't notice you missing Carrie. I missed it too until I noticed one of my favorite bitches was missing. It's an easy slip up, considering we were wee tikes at the time it came out. (ah, to be a wee tike) Also consider that all of the films that are being discussed are known primarily (I think anyway) for being great "high school" films. Carrie is also a great "high school" film, but it also happens to be one of the best (if not the best IMHHO) horror films of all time. I think its notoriety as a horror film makes one forget that it's also high school film. Just a theory ...
