is stylish videogame 'reality' where different laws of ?physics apply, but given all that, is very enjoyable and is grounded in our 'reality' by mcavoy's non-zombie performance.

Really really FUN, with some pseudo-existentialist glaze, and the only interesting movie influenced by The Matrix so far.

the final proof that, yes, indeed, angelina jolie is a major box office player in her own right. Wow, I said it. And I think Changeling (or whatever it's called) is going to result in an Oscar nom and damn me for taking her out of my top five. 2008 will be a watershed year for her.

a 24 year old, straight male's fantasy, recreated for the screen.

Oh well, it's entertaining enough for a summer film.

"the final proof that, yes, indeed, angelina jolie is a major box office player in her own right."

Considering Ms. Jolie has only been in three movies that could be considered any sort of "hits" and they all featured her as scantily-clad gun-firing action babes, I think that (unfortunately or not) it's quite obvious she's only a draw to the moviegoing public when she's cast in a very specific type of role/film, and far from a major box office player.

(yes, run-on sentence like woah.)
