keaton was so ott and hammy in this movie and THAT crying scene oh what a waste of a good cast,trite slopp american comedy drivel!!!

I was surprised how much I liked that movie, actually.
I saw her in "The Country Girl" on Broadway last weekend. Love her, but she was pretty damn dull there.
well, it's a dull role.
Grace Kelly was a snoozer in it too... but managed to steal the Oscar from Judy G anyway because you know: DEGLAMMING.
Some actress personalities just transfer better to film, and she is one of them.
If she's in a film- I'm always game.
