Before doing this series I had no idea how often filmmakers liked to begin or end or being and end their pictures with shots of the water. Cinema is dripping with the stuff!

I don't know if "1492" would qualify as a "fun" answer, Nathaniel. Wasn't the subtitle to that film "The Conquest of Paradise" or something?
yay ;) i used to love the sinbad movies when i was a child.
As a kid I loved "The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad," especially the cyclops sequence.
Mutiny on the Bounty....oh, I love those Sinbad movies! they are awful and boring, but I still love them!
What about the films that begin and end with other elements? Air? Fire? Earth?
I think this is the first time where so many of the first guesses were of different movies.
