Can you guess the movie? It's from the 80s, can't you tell?
Highlight for the answer: Dreamscape (1984) starring Dennis Quaid and Kate Capshaw. All about men invading other people's dreams. Isn't Inception going to revolve around that, too? for all first and last puzzles, click the label below.

Maybe "Dreamscape?"
(Surprised to be first, even if I am wrong!)
You're not wrong, it is Dreamscape.
Geez... you guys are good. I wouldn't have guessed Dreamscape anyways, but each time I rush to one of these contests, someone has already nabbed it. Well done!
Yeah i always wonder how someone gets these. i'm not sure i'd be able to identify so many and it's my own game.
I know for certain this isn't Xanadu, but boy did the lady in that first image look a lot like Olivia Newton-John to me! (Tell me I'm not going blind or insane.)
I think it's the clue-it corners it down a LOT.
Not if you don't look at IMDb it doesn't!
Damn - I didn't even know there was a clue on these things! Not that the cinematographer or decade would have helped for most of these - it is pretty universal on the first fifty-one of these that I either know the movie instantly from the shot(s), or I will never get it in a thousand years, even with help.
I happened to vividly remember the lady running in slow-motion from the center of the city, then being consumed by a nuclear fireball. After that, I did remember that the last scene was in a Los Angeles rail yard, as confirmation. Maybe it's just that some of these scenes leave powerful impressions on each of us differently, but not all of us universally.
