I always get mad at my friends when they talk about movies in absolutes (ie, "The Dark Knight is the greatest movie of all time!" or "Kevin Costner is the worst actor ever!"), but I'm always saying that Julianne Moore is the greatest (or at least, the bravest) actor of all time. Can someone be considered the best of anything in the film business before the age of 50? I think so...
Oh, Julianne Moore, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways,
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height of Vanya on 42nd Street That my soul can reach, when feeling [SAFE] For the ends of Boogie and ideal Nights. I love thee to the level of The Big Lebowski...or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing Most quiet need, by Magnolia and The Hours. I love thee freely, as men strive Far from Heaven; I love thee purely, as they turn from Children of Men.
To the tune of A CALL FROM THE VATICAN I was sitting by me desktop surfing the net When an idea occurred to me I wondered if you knew how... Julie... Who loves you in all your roles? I do Oh Julie Even the ones where plot just goes? I do Your biggest fan Is telling you right now that you can Get any role cause you're that great But hurry before it's too late Don't wait You're great I don't care if you play a bad mother Julie I don't Care if you're a frigid Woman in the fifties I don't Well Julie I guess I'll have to wait until Julie... You will... I LOVE YOU JULIE!!!
Maury Yeston>>eat your heart out!
It occurred to me that I am not her biggest fan...but I'm in the top 20.
Alas, I do not have a poet’s soul to give the great Julianne her proper due, but I’ll do my best. Mere words aren’t enough to describe the awesome actress power of Julianne Moore, a legend in the making. Her intelligence has enabled her to blend different performance styles and genres in order to create indelible portraits of complex women. Her unique beauty and sensuality have served well in giving the cinema some of its unforgettable images. Those gorgeous eyes seem to have the ability to express every emotion on the spectrum. She is truly one of the greatest working actresses; one who has made me gasp and cry like no other. I’m hopeful that she’ll keep working for years and years giving the cinema more fascinating performances. So here’s to Julianne: thank you for being you. May that deserved Oscar arrive soon for you.

Much love and respect,

Julianne,
If you ever went to Fenway Park, you'd make the other 6,000 redheads kiss your feet. Because they would know.
I look forward to fever dreams because you are there being a good mother/lover from Far From Heaven.
Love,
Jim Juice
PS Lets Mud wrestle when I'm released from this soul sucking institution.
Such a sexy picture. Three cheers for older (please note the 'er') women.
I wish Julianne Moore was my best friend.
