yes Nathaniel is still crawling out from under the worst flu evah. I don't recommend catching it. Drink lots of fluids and get plenty of sleep and take vitamins and exercize! P.S. (I just rewatched small parts of Persuasion today, and it is wonderful. Sigh.)
Ditto the suggestion for Top Hat, or Swing Time, or pretty much any Astaire/Rodgers film from this era. When I'm sick these films make me feel like I'm not full of phlegm and gross and am instead wearing a ball gown and hatching plots with Edward Everett Horton and Eric Blore.

Last time I was sick, I watched Paul Thomas Anderson's "Magnolia." I think I got even sicker.
I like to watch 'The Third Man' when I'm sick. Or 'The Maltese Falcon'. Something about really thickly layered noir helps me heal.
