I too had a Star Wars vibe at first glance, but no those are definitely knights. My knowledge of medieval films is too limited so I best sit this one out.
God that movie could a been so great if they'd put Sandahl in the Sonja role and someone else in the evil queen role and put Nielsen in a different movie and then let Sandahl keep her blonde hair and just call it "The Swordswoman formely known as Red" Sonja."
And then of course got a new script.
I wish Rose McGowan were still doing the remake!
This makes me think of both MADONNA'S bedtime stories music video (first image) and The Return of the King (aragorn & arwen) though i know that neither are correct.
I just saw Sandahl Bergman in All That Jazz. What a dancer. I loved her as Valeria in Conan. I wish she had played Red Sonja too, and a whole bunch of other roles, including dancing ones.
