It's a Hair Flip!
I'm off to an extremely slow start today. Moore to come in the evening.
In the meantime, talk amongst yourselves. What's on your mind?

You should have said "moore to come in the evening." Nothing beats a good pun.
WHERE ARE YOUR PREDICTIONS!?
Nat, although I'm going to get reamed for this, I think the ten this year is going to be weird. People are gasping over wholly typical material. We should theme this year: Risk 2.0, 1.0 being the 52nd.
Picture:
Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World
Wall Street 2
Inception
True Grit
Kick-Ass
Black Swan
Toy Story 3
Tree of Life
Lincoln (If scheduled)
The Kids Are Alright
To take stock:
2 Comic book adaptations
1 Straight Action movie.
1 Animated movie.
1 Movie with Gay Themes
1 Erotic Thriller
1 Western
1 Malick
2 "Typical Oscar" movies. (WS 2 and Lincoln)
Robert -- for you, I amend!
anon -- keep your panties on.
Volvagia -- i agree but i can't think where to take risks exactly. that's always the problem.
Julianne will WIN this year in supporting actress
I'm watching "What a Way to Go!" right now. I feel like I should like it more than I do...but it's off to a slow start. Has anyone else seen it?
I'm thinking a whole lot about the Emmy Awards lately. Last night's episode of Law and Order: Special Victims Unit has convinced me that Ann-Margret will win Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series.
I'm also wondering what's going to happen with Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series... I could see that going to anyone really (leaning towards Tina Fey, but I'm not so sure)
And on the topic of movies, Robert Downey, Jr. should win an Oscar sometime. Oh, and I officially propose any sort of document that prohibits Stephenie Meyer novels from being adapted into films
Julianne Moore will never win an oscar, i think kristen stewart will get it even before her. God, the Academy should be ashamed of nominating Cruz in Nine and ignoring Moore three times.
@Jude
Yes I have seen it! Everyone that I know that's viewed it has their favorite husbands or "segments" in the movie. Mine have to be Paul Newman and Robert Mitchum. It is long and it's another one of those films that can't be made today or if it did you'd end up with something awful like "Valentine's Day". All star power and no movie.
Do you have the DVD? Watch the extras. There's crazy footage of Shirley Maclaine riding the subway to the premiere.
Speaking of Julianne, her episode of 'ATWT' airs next Monday. I think there's a VERY brief preview on CBS somewhere. I'm kinda stoked and thinkin' about liveblogging the soap on Monday. LoL
City_Of_Lights
Yes I have the DVD so I will make sure to watch that special feature! Thanks for the heads up! My favorite husband is probably Gene Kelly. I fall for those musical numbers pretty easily.
My least favorite was definitely Dick Van Dyke. He just didn't have as much to work with as Paul Newman/Robert Mitchum/Gene Kelly I suppose.
going to watch Chloe right now
what a coincidence
What about Chloe?
Has anyone seen it yet?
@Julian: It's funny because with the season finales approaching, I was also thinking about it.
About the Emmy race for Lead Comedy Actress, I can see it going to Léa Michelle, I really do. The Globes didn't give it to her simply because Toni Collette hadn't won for Tara yet.
It's just a matter of how much do Emmy voters like Glee? I only hope they don't steal the prize from Modern Family (although they absolutely will). And what about Edie Falco? You know Emmys love her.
I think that the nominees will be Edie Falco, Toni Colette, Léa Michelle, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler (I see Courteney Cox being snubbed). Wouldn't it be sweet if Amy Poehler won? She's amazing.
FYI, per the title pic, Julianne Moore will be going back to her soap roots for a short stint on "As The World Turns", reprising her role from the late 80's. Her first appearance will be on Monday, April 5th episode on CBS.
God, she's gorgeous.
