I'm stumped for the most part. I caught what Lorenzo did with letter C (for Carole!), and I think D is Jessica Lange. I thought Vertigo for A but immediately changed my mind as soon as I scrutinized it some.

Yes, to A being Doris Day in Love Me or Leave Me. On a somewhat related note, one of my favorite undergrad teachers was the son of Daniel Fuchs, who won the Oscar for screenwriting for that movie. He used to tell hilarious stories about his dad's job as a ghostwriter for Faulkner.
Um, guys, Jennifer Jason Leigh wasn't in Jackie Brown, Bridget Fonda was. And that doesn't seem like her character, because she never handled Brown's totebag in the movie, or wore sleeves. (There was a moment I would've sworn that still was from Jackie Brown, too. Wouldn't surprise me if it came from a movie that Tarantino was referencing.)
B looks like Tippie Hedrin in Marnie, but I could be totally wrong.
