I just saw it last week (finally) and the graphic qualities are amazing (I totally agree with Nate - great frame). Black and white hasn't looked this good since the silent era - the richness of the visuals was astonishing.
That said, I confess that while the first third was amazing, at one near the end my partner turned to me and said "is this only 90 minutes? It feels longer." There is a point where the story begins, frankly, to drag a bit and it did feel longer, to myself as well as my sweetie, than 90 minutes.
I also suspect more Academy voters saw Rat. than Pers.

Wow. Great frame.
Way better than Ratatouille.
Blew me away. Totally robbed.
BEST movie out there last year, in any category!
Gets better with each viewing, whereas the rat... pffffffffft
Completely underrated gem of a film. Elicits more emotion from me than probably any other recent picture, even on repeated viewings.
Persepolis is great!
Also, I live in Vienna so it was kinda funny to watch the parts that play here...

Best Netflix choice I've ever made.
There are so many stills from this movie worth capturing, though I prefer the topical one I used last week.
I won't say it's better than "Ratatouille," but let's just say I need to buy of those DVDs, stat.
Still hasn't been released here yet. Although we did just get The Savages two days ago so that's something!
