first and last images from motion pictures (excluding credit sequences)
Can you guess the movie?*
It's a biopic from the 1990s. If you're stumped highlight for the answer. It's... LOVE IS THE DEVIL starring Derek Jacobi and Daniel Craig. How about that?

stumped on this one, timecop lol?
The Game? I'm getting a Fincher vibe. Of course, I'm probably way off track (and I don't remember much of that movie at all).
marathon man??
The Prestige?
nope, nope, nope and nope.
I wish i could give you "first and last lines" of dialogue but i couldn't make out the last line.
it's from the 90s and the man coming through the skylight is someone who is a very big star now but wasn't then. also a biopic of sorts
Love Is the Devil, right?
Finally getting one of these has suffused me with a sense of achievement that I will count on to sustain me through the entire day. It is embarrassingly exciting.
To be fair, though, there's a fairly long sequence between the opening title card and the arrival of the rest of the credits. First image of which is a key in CU going into a lock, which is the boring way to enter a room, unlike what Daniel is doing in the first completely-post-credits image you culled here. The key thing, I wouldn't have recognized, so I'm actually glad you skipped it!
The only one I ever got before anyone else was All That Jazz -- Which I was actually kind of amazed about. I figured there would've been more devotees here (considering it's an absolutely astoundingly good movie).
no idea
velvet goldmine?
it's LOVE IS THE DEVIL starring Derek Jacobi as Francis Bacon the painter. Daniel Craig is in the first frame attempting to burgle his apartment. Instead of burgling there will be buggering.
