No Country For Daryl Hannah

Here's something I don't get about the IMDB, everyones favorite movie database: How does their system come up with their photogallery combos? This is an actual unretouched snapshot from IMDB's No Country For Old Men photo page [editor's note: just checked and they've since changed the page, so you 'll have to take my word for it...]

I love me some Daryl Hannah but I'm not sure why fans of the new Coen Bros film No Country For Old Men necessarily would. She does not appear in the movie. She has never worked with the Coen Bros, Javier Bardem, Kelly Macdonald, Josh Brolin, Tommy Lee Jones, Woody Harrelson ...hell, she hasn't even worked with Frances McDormand, a Coen by holy matrimony. But I love that when I went to look for photos from the movie, there she was next to creepy ass Javier all pleased to watch him aim his weapon as if she appeared in the movie... in a red carpet dream sequence (???)

I'm with you on this. It's so frustrating when you click on a photo and end up having to choose between albums categorized by the film in question, the related event, the actor(s) involved and the other personalities who merely attended said event in order to find it again.

The amalgam reminds me of eleven years ago when "Fargo" was all the rage. In interviews and quotes, every young ambitious actress (Claire Danes, Courtney Cox, etc.)was talking about it being their favorite film and how much they'd die to work with the Coen brothers. Very lecherous.

It's all very Sunset Boulevard/All About Eve/Mulholland Drive. I love it.

It's almost as bad as the way the IMDB accepts input from anyone about trivia and personal information about actors and then refuses to change in favor of the truth!

Some of the trivia in particular is loose talk and plain bs.
Then wikipedia picks it up and uses it as well, and before you know it...it is taken as fact.

Particularly annoying if the info is about you and they still won't change it!

Maybe she's dating someone involved?

All the side photo combinations are completely random, and yeah, sometimes it is freaky. She must've been at a premiere for it, like how I saw Beyonce in with the Babel photos.
