Day of Rest
We're not really resting. But behind the scenes things are taking us forever. And we're rapidly running out of stamina.
What are your movie plans like this weekend?

The Town, Easy A, and I'm Still Here. Well, at least one of them.
Yesterday I saw I Am Love which comfirmed my fears of "more pretty than interesting or moving" and today I saw the The Kids Are All Right which, too, confimed my fear that I would really like the jokes but I liked/loved the performances (Bening for the win, please) and it was quite moving.
2 questions:
When are you going to decide on a grade for Never Let Me Go? (Of course, you can't answer this question. I'm just being annoying :p)
Why are you so upset in the pic? Has Julia kidnapped Monty and asks you to give her the gold for a second time in a row as ransom?
I meant: "would NOT really like the jokes"
Brad & Angelina would've made such an interesting couple in the 90's when they were both a little crazy...and superficial.
I just saw Easy A (which was okay not great) and I'm going to see either Devil and The Town at some point this weekend (gee, what a tough decision).
Saw Eraserhead last night for the first time at the IFC center. And I would reallllly like to see The Town.
I watched The Producers yesterday (classic), nothing today, and Some Like it Hot is scheduled for tomorrow.
I just saw Easy A. It made me smile.
Caroline, hope Eraserhead doesn't give you nightmares. Personally, scariest movie I've EVER seen.
I saw Easy A last night and loved it! Definitely the best teen comedy since Mean Girls.
I'm seeing Devil and The Town either tomorrow or on Tuesday. I haven't been too anticipatory of either film, but The Town is being raved about by pretty much everyone, so I'm somewhat looking forward to it.
Devil on the other hand...
I would kill to live in the States and being able to watch Easy A or The Town (or The Kids are All Right, for that matter) but being in Spain I'm going to watch Contracorriente, the Peruvian contender for Oscar love.
BTW I don't know if you can use this info for your pages but the Spanish contenders have been narrowed to three
1. Celda 211 (last year Goya winner, directedby Daniel Monzón)
2. Lope (a terrible biopic of Lope de Vega, directed by Andrucha Waddington)
3. También la lluvia (the yet unseen film by Iciar Bollaín)
Hope it's useful...
NEVER LET ME GO !!!
Hopefully i'll seey carey introducing it !!!
Really want to watch the Town, but interested in Devil too
Black Swan yesterday and Meek's Cutoff today at TIFF.
Black Swan was completely useless and terrible.. so, here's hoping Meek's Cutoff will be even remotely interesting. I guess things can't get worse, movie-wise, this weekend.
I also caught a strange Robert Altman film on Friday night. A Cold Day in the Park? Anyone heard of this?
"the town","the runaways" and "des hommes et des dieux"
i saw "the town" yesterday:really good(i like heist movies)
Saw Easy A and had a perfectly wonderful time.
