She looks amazing.

Hope she's doing a period pic again soon. She was great in "The Painted Veil".

Her only Oscar nomination come from her brilliant performance in "21 Grams", but her creation in "King King" is as challenging (appearing splendidly ravishing does not seem to be) as the former and a true testament on pure cinematic magic!

Agreed, but to this day, I still hold her essentially 3 part character in Mulholland Dr as perfection (the sunny Betty, the smoldering woman she becomes in her audition, and the fragile Diane) and two scenes stick out in particular, her facial expressions in Club Silencio, and the way she says "I'm so in love with you" to Rita

Gah, Mulholland Dr is a masterpiece.

It's been very quiet from her lately. Someone needs to write a part drenched in petty histrionics so Naomi can get her shriek on again.

Agree that Naomi's performance in Mullholland Drive is a masterpiece of acting.

Loved her in 21 grams and The Painted Veil as well.
I really hated that The Painted Veil was released in such a terrible way! I actually really liked Edward Norton in it as well. It's just a really good film.

Anyway, she looks lovely here.

She's one of my fav actresses - I noticed her first on Mulholand Drive - Lynch being my all time favorite director together with Almodovar, Tarkovsky and Kusturica (and Tarantino - but what's he doing casting Brad Pitt in his movies!!!!) That film is a masterpiece on so many levels. It brought back memories of Twin Peaks...
I love Naomi and I really hope she's going to be in more films - why are all my fav actresses over 40??? I must be getting old ...

Such a wonderful actress but, God, was it depressing to watch her in "The International." Why did she agree to do that film? The very agreement must have put her in a creative slump because she, a true dramatic talent, does virtually nothing to bring life to her poorly written character. I felt like I was in an alternate universe when I found myself wincing whenever she appeared on screen. We'll just scratch that one from her filmography which, up until now, was just about flawless (and yes, I know about "Tank Girl.")

Actually i think Naomi is keeping it all under the radar and come 2010 she'll be back with a bang. She's in 'Mother and child' with Annette Benning, the next Woody Allen movie, and she might be in another movie with Sean Penn about Valerie Plame.

Kurtis O... I thought she was good in Tank Girl! That's the first time I noticed her.

She fascinates me, irrespective of whether or not I think she's great (Mulholland) or slightly overcooked (Grams).

And I know Funny Games was a love/hate experience, but I loved it. She completely sold her whole character arc in that film.

Filming for "Fair Game" started last week

It's a testament that her performance in Mulholland Drive will go down as the best performance of the decade. Unless something magically comes about this year, of course.

Oh, I'm all about her in "Tank Girl." I threw that in there because that's usually what I'm hit with if I discuss Naomi's solid track record.

Has anyone seen "Ellie Parker?" I thought it was really funny.

I first saw those pictures without reading the headline and thought, "gee, Nicole Kidman looks alot like Naomi Watts in those pictures". So basically, Naomi looks alot like Nicole in those pictures I think. Maybe the Luhrman-esque photo shoot throwing me off.

Speaking of these two BFF's, whats going on with that film they're doing together "Need". It sounds very promising.

JoFo. I don't think that film is ever going to be made.

Ryan Murphy (Nip/Tuck) has so many things in the works but they keep not happening (Dirty Tricks also)

Naomi Watts would be interesting to watch in a comedy; a nice change of pace. I am a fan of her "I Heart Huckabee's" performance and would love to see more of her humor.
