Wow yeah I knew this one instantly. The opening and closing shots are both so mysterious and lovely they've burrowed themselves into my brain. Sarah Polley and Ian Holm are SO GOOD in this.

i haven't seen it in aeons though.
I firmly believe IAN HOLM was better than most of the Oscar nominees... maybe all of them.
Such a great little film- that closing shot will stayed etched in my memory forever. Too bad egoyan doesnt make great movies anymore.
